Southland Eye Specialists is the first and only private eye specialist clinic in Southland to provide full in house diagnostic testing, including field and OCT testing.

Dr Nicholas Johnston

Dr Johnston is a general ophthalmologist (Eye Specialist) with sub specialist interests in cataract, glaucoma and oculoplastic (eyelid) surgery.
He consults on a wide range of eye diseases including:
General Ophthalmology
Neuro-Ophthalmology
Cataract Surgery
Oculoplastic Surgery
Glaucoma Laser treatment and Surgery
Pterygium Surgery

Dr Johnston completed his undergraduate medical training at Otago Medical School in 2005. He subsequently completed ophthalmology training through out New Zealand prior to completing his fellowship in Perth, WA.
